KATHARSIS © More Than Skin Deep.

Art that
stays with you. Katharsis Tattoo Studio, Athens

Founded in 2023, Katharsis was born out of years of experience, dedication, and a deep love for the art of tattooing. Built with intention and shaped by everything we learned behind the machine long before opening our doors, it represents a fresh perspective on tattoo culture. The word Katharsis carries a meaning that goes beyond its sound. Rooted in the idea of emotional release, inner transformation, and the process of making sense of our experiences, it reflects something deeply personal about the relationship between people and tattoos. Every meaning is personal, and that is what makes it matter.

MORE THAN INK

Your story.
Our craft.

As a woman-owned tattoo studio, Katharsis was created to bring something new to the community — a space where individuality comes first and no one is treated like just another appointment in a production line. We believe that meaningful work starts with meaningful connection. We take the time to listen, understand each person’s ideas and expectations, and collaborate closely to create tattoos that feel true to the person wearing them. At Katharsis, we don’t just focus on what goes on your skin. We care about the story, the intention, and the person behind it. Every tattoo is personal. Every story is different. And every piece deserves the time, attention, and dedication it takes to bring it to life.

Safety, Hygiene & Professional Standards

At Katharsis, our commitment goes beyond the art itself. We believe that every tattoo should be created in an environment where safety, hygiene, and professionalism are just as important as creativity and artistic expression. We are committed to following all applicable health, hygiene, and safety regulations, maintaining high standards throughout every stage of the tattooing process. From the preparation of our workspace and equipment to the tattooing procedure itself, every step is approached with care, attention to detail, and respect for our clients’ well-being. For us, creating a safe and comfortable experience is an essential part of the trust we build with every person who walks through our doors. Because great tattooing is not only about what we create, but also about how we create it. Art with intention. Care without compromise.
